So, this is the story. I started writing a bit, but then decided with my time off (I was sick, and the cure was fanfic... something there is woefully little of as I am working), that I needed to read. And so then I chose J. Because J is just an awesome letter. And, I read some. And then I read more. And then I started reading this, and by reading it, I mean I read the first bit where you say this was your first office fic and first fic in a while, and so I am eager to read it. But apparently my eagerness doesn't preclude me from writing all of this before I even read the first line.
I am such an odd ball.

So, I am a horrible creature of habit about waking up also. I didn't use to be. But then this past semester, it was clockwork. Asleep by 11. Wake up right before 7. It shifted slightly for summer, asleep by 10, awake slightly at 7.
Should you file that entire paragraph under "stuff I didn't need to know about EmilyHalpert?"

Jim snores. Haha. Jim snores. Sorry, that makes me giggle like a little girl.

Wow, I am doing odder (that normal reviews today)... just thought I would mention that.

Did I read this story somewhere else? Or just not review? Because it sounds like something I read, but I didn't find a review. Because I remember the little details like Pam having the nail appointment and stuff. Or else I am psychic! AWESOME

Oh, and if being psychic wasn't awesome enough, this story is all kinds of awesome. Because Jim and Pam are happy together (which makes up for me reading Silence earlier), and it is the first day of her life is just such a great ending. And I have a (fanfic) sugar high and so I don't think it could do wrong in my brain.

Okay, this makes me giggle, because it reminds me in a weird way of my friend (who spent nearly 30 minutes telling me how amazing it was to 'smooch standing up in the kitche').

Okay. And then I did a Kevin giggle. Kevin saw them. hehe.

All right, Emily: You'd best step back, because I suspect your inbox is about to be FLOODED with review responses from me.  (Yes indeed -- that discussion on the FanFic thread left me feeling all kinds of guilty.) 

In any case, it was funny to get a new review for this fic, because it's one of the few challenge responses I did; I think it was the "caught in a confined space" challenge.  THAT was a fun one, let me tell you....

Told you I would be reading more. Plus, I planned ahead. I knew I wouldn't have internet access, so I purposely bookmarked some as offline webpages.

Hmm.... should be interesting. Normally a lot of 'bad' words makes me go all icky, but really, I was told I needed to read your stories. And this was an easy one chapter one to bookmark, so there. :)

Really, its so hard to go back once you put it all out there. My (painfully) similar experience, when we finally did talk, we only talked about measles. Measles and CPR. I mean, we went from being friends to talking about measles.

My potty mouth consists of words like shizzle and crap monkey. But, if I am upset or angry, yeah. I can curse. I remember one time I was really sick and upset and I had lost my keys and I posted an LJ entry, and like every other word was the f word.
So I think the point of that paragraph was saying that even though I can get all icky with  curse words, this is at least somewhat natural. Not like the stories were it just happens because the authors likes to throw bad words in, but it works in the context of Jim being angry

aww, a nice story. and, i learned a bit about manicures. kinda pathetic as i am a 21 year old girl. but oh well. we can all learn from fanfic.

Wait, waking up early at 8:27? Sorry, thats what I consider sleeping IN.

Anyways, this reminds me of my friend. Her facebook status was "i fell off the bed and woke up boyfriend. oops" and i wanted to yell at her. she is 9 months pregnant, she falls off the bed and she is saying oops cause she woke her boyfriend. mostly its cause i know the boy would just be upset he woke up, not that his super pregnant girlfriend fell off the bed.

yes, that was what i thought of when I read about Roy. 

aww, such a sweet story. i just read the entire series. so sweet even though tons of angst. it did balance out...

i loved the jim is screwing everyone except for pam :) 

its a really cool concept. i had one of those sorta. it was a time capsule thing in our agenda from theyear2000. i fept mine, and as i was packing for college (so really only like 4,5 yearslater, i found a letter i wrote to myself with everything i liked and stuff like that. some of it hadn't changed, other stuff i laughed at me ever liking.

i also remember when i was younger than 16, i read a story that compared not being married by 40 to not having been kissed by 16. and then i hadn't been kissed by 16. i was heart broken. i thought for sure that meant i was going to be an old maid (well, still feel that way sometimes) 

Oh wow. Okay, so, I chose this one to be the last one I read (for now, I do have to pretend to have a life), and this turned out to be the perfect one. Its so great, it combines all the senarios I love (and some I don't), and it just, it works so well and it takes you back into that split second in which it totally is awesome.

Thanks for reminding me of what started me writing this pairing in the first place. I was shocked to see this blast from the past on the front page! :)

this is great. it is pre series, i agree, i can see it best as that. and i like that version of drunk jim. and he is so sweet, even drunk. well, honest. but a sweet honest.

I knew it was messing with Dwight. Man, if those two offsprig ever do cross in fictional scranton, man oh man... it would be like... well, I don't know. But I love that idea that they could!

Hum, so simple weddings get more elaborate? well, my original plans of a wedding were I wanted to be able to wear shots. and now my ideal wedding i am wearing jeans.... so I can see that.
