"Once we had finished the season, we knew. We had the ultimate prank," Pam said breathlessly.
"A way to make Dwight Schrute believe that his world had been turned upside down, that superpowers really do exist, and that Dunder-Mifflin was hiding a secret so huge that it would stop at nothing to keep it hidden.”
“God, Angela would have made an excellent Puritan.”
“Ok, well, sometimes the gift is really about the gesture, you know, like what it means, instead of what it is.”
Pre-series.
Jim and Pam & their thoughts after their first date. Post The Job - no spoilers.
The tale of Gentle Pamela and Hansome James aboard the pirate ship Dunder Mifflinia. May contain some bodice ripping and lots of pillaging.
This is an older story I'm posting for MTT readers. It was inspired by a scene in The Fire when Pam lists her favorite movies, but Jim cuts her off before she can name her all time favorite.
Standard disclaimer: I don't own these characters. I'm just playing with them for a bit. That's what she said.
Takes place after "The Job".
Jim has finally asked Pam out on a date. What happens now? This story follows their relationship as it develops throughout the summer, and shows how the rest of Dunder Mifflin reacts to both this and other recent changes in their lives.
This oneshot is based on a prompt at TWoP to write a fic based on a screen shot from Gay Witch Hunt showing that Jim has a note stuck to his monitor reading, "Smile!" This is what I imagine he was thinking when he looked at it. Oh, so, spoilers for Gay Witch Hunt, sort of.
Inspired by the finale and the seasons that preceeded it. Enough said.
