SOOOO just kidding! Imean, you're definitely evil, but it was so well-done, and well-thought out (you can NEVER overthink your own fiction. especially when it's Office fanfic!), that I still loved it. Was DEFINITELY thrown for a loop when I got to the whole last name part, even though I got a hint of what had happened when I read "Aunt Pam." My only issue? If I were Sara, there's no way in hell I'd stand my Jim still being so buddy-buddy with Pam. But that's just because if I had Jim, I wouldn't share him with anyone! *muttering* Yes... Lock him in a cage, feed him, hid him from the world. my own little pet... mwahahahahaha!!

I LOVE that Pam would tie Jim's tie for him. That just... it's perfection.
He goes out, he works, he does not call Pam, even when he's drunk and calls the office, he somehow gets Dwight's extension instead of the main desk, and the following Monday he recieves a very long pamphlet on alcohol abuse, narrated by a green panda.10 How I missed this little gem before, I have no idea. But I love it. Love the writing style, and your depiction of Jim's thoughts feels spot on. I love it.

I actually worked with a girl whose boyfriend proposed that way. She didn't realize what he'd done for hours, Me - I'd notice a diamond but whatever. LOL! I loved the idea of them just waking up in the morning and having it happen. Glad you did too!!

10 Ok, besides the fact that your writing is perfect and beautiful, you manage to work in lychee (LOVE that stuff! But hated it as a kid) and Georgia O'Keefe, my favorite artist since I was a wee pre-teen--and had not a clue how... suggestive her paintings were, i just liked the pretty, interesting take on flowers. (Fun fact: I've done a couple of paintings of flowers in that style. The biggest one may or may not be hanging above my living room couch.)

10 Ok, I think it's absolutely criminal that I've read all your stories, and favorite authored you, and I'm pretty sure this is my first comment. Anyways, your writing is fantastic. And I look forward to each chapter almost as much as Pam looks forward to another date with Jim. (You know, since I live vicariously through her.)
Is there life and love after Jam?10 Ok, I just needed to tell you, seventeen chapters in, that I am in love with this story! You're writing style is spot on, I'm totally addicted and it's 4:28 AM as I write this and I am FORCING myself to stop and go to bed already! Seriously, if it hadn't been for the blue ribbon, I would never have read this, mostly because I'm too impatient for WIPs, and I love me some JAM. But Emily has totally stolen my heart (just like she has Jim's... at least as far as I've read!), and I'm so glad. Although, I must say, reading about Jim with another woman feels kinda like hearing about a serious ex that you know you're over, but there's still a little sting knowing you're not together anymore. Reminds me a little of my favorite song, "Heart of the Matter" though perhaps not quite as tragic. I tell you, it takes a lot for me to like a story where Jim and Pam do not get a happily ever after together, but gosh darn it, you've succeeded! Can't wait to read the rest!
