10 Michael and Jan's phone conversation here just killed me. I mean, killed me dead. *Thump. Rats come after corpse*. Everyone needs a famous historical figure as a sidekick.

Yeah, too bad Mozart's Friend, Butch Cassidy, was too busy to show.
I like the rats come after corpse because it suggests that although you are (technically) dead, you're still aware that small mammalian creatures, akin to BATS, are dragging your lifeless body away.
I can imagine a whole cemetary of corpses chatting. "So, Lester, I was lying in my coffin and I heard a scritch scritch sound and the first thing that popped into my head? It's gotta be those arthworms. But, nope. It was graverobbers. They stole my watch. Now I don't know what time it is."
Hmmm, yeah better end that before people start thinking I'm the weirdo.
In the end, it doesn't happen at a wedding.

9 Good job. I know so many writers who can't fathom portraying Karen in a sympathetic light and I'm glad that you've written a first of those five nights of talks story with her as the innocent victim that she is (rather than the krazy bitch of so many other fics).

Does anyone else think that for a comedy, this show gets very depressing if you think about the characters?
I love to see someone finally writing Ryan as a man, rather than just a shallow frat kid. You deserve all sorts of props for this (and frankly, since I only started watching the show in the third season, I've only really got the impression that Jim is a dumbass).

Now that he's with Jan, there's so much Michael's learned about love. He feels obligated to spread the word. Set sometime Season 3-ish but not specific.
10 The first Jan segment talking to Dr. Perry was just fantastic, and it only got better from there. I was planning on going to sleep, but I saw this and just had to read it and it was worth it. I'm never not impressed by anything you write.

I would also like to take the opportunity to inform that I have actually eaten mung beans on several occasions. They can be prepared in many different ways to produce somewhat edible dishes. I've never tried them straight up, though.
