Set after Cocktails...Most of the office leaves for the day. A few people are left behind. One of them has a gun and every intention of using it.
"So, Jim," she started, setting the empty can back down on the table as she returned his cup to him. "Have you ever done drugs?" She leaned in towards him for even more emphasis. She grinned widely at him before sitting back in her chair. [Spoilers up to and including Drug Testing for part one. This might be cheating a little on the 55 challenge, as it doesn't technically bring Jim and Pam together.
But it does in a way. You'll know what I mean when you read it :o)
This is along the same lines as my other Away From the Cameras, in the sense that I'm exploring scenes that might have happened off-camera (or simply those that we didn't get to see).
A few things: First, I'm working on the assumption that a lot of what I wrote in the AFtC for season II stands (though I likely won't reference any of it here), up until Casino Night. (Clearly I was quite off about what happened after the kiss...heh.)
Second, there will be flashbacks filling in the blanks of what happened immediately after CN (how long did Jim work? how did he and Pam ultimately leave things? how did she end things with Roy? how did Jim find out about her cancelling the wedding?); the flashbacks will happen largely in the chapters pre-merger (to keep things interesting for Jim/Pam fans during their physical separation).

This is my first attempt at fanfiction about a few times when Pam might have known what Jim felt for her, if things were a little different.

Self-explanatory....Begins with his first lunch out with Pam (a follow-up to my first ever fic, "Pam's First Day at Dunder-Mifflin"), ends with his and Pam's first REAL date. Hopefully, by the time the last chapter is written, the frenzy of JAM first date stories will have died down, and mine won't be too redundant.
