Yeah for this. I love how well you wrote this scene despite the few words. Jim smiling against his pillow speaks volumes. Her whispering like a child. His "there, much better." All of it was really nice. Loved it.

This was very hauting and sweet at the same time. I really got the impression that Pam understood Jim's fears in a way that was real and true to both of them. Her compassion stood out. This story was made all the more poignant by your author's notes. So thank you for that.

I love the exploration of Jim and Michael in this. Their parallel was set up so well in Survivor Man, and you brought it out well in this. The line about growing up being more than just getting a year older ... so true and poignant. And perfect for Jim at this juncture. Great story.
The Office is struck by a terrible tragedy...can Pennsylvania Halpert save the day? Based very loosely on the Indiana Jones series, but mostly on jokes collected from hours and days and weeks of JAM therapy. :D
Pretty sure this would qualify as Bad!fic, so don't expect a literary masterpiece. lol
I have often been lauded for my work as a muse. I have to say though, this is by far the finest work to spring from my particular style of inspiration. Glad to be of service. And *that* pic tucked safely in Dwight's pocket at the end of the story ... will.not.do. I expect this to be remedied in the epilogue. Perhaps Dwight uses it t construct a monument in Pennsylvania's honor. Erect a monument, I mean.

Phyllis Lapin Vance seems on the surface to be the friendly, slightly-maternal face of the office. But Pam's been around long enough to know a little better than that. Pam knows who her friends really are, and Phyllis certainly isn't on that list......
Love it! I have a long running list of reasons that Phyllis is a bitch. I have never seen her as the benevolent Mother Goose Jam shipper. If she didn't look maternal and unassuming, we wouldn't assume she was. Honestly. So, this is right up my alley.

Ryan/Karen, some Jim/Pam.
Karen has her own season of self-discovery. Only it's a little more subtle than coal-walks or love declarations.
I liked this. I usually shy away from Karen/Ryan fic because I tend to believe the things that made Karen want a guy like Jim would always keep her from wanting someone like Ryan. But you made me believe it came from a real place. A part of the (slip shod) characterization we got of Karen on the show, but fleshed out with realism and a better understanding of who she is.
Just a little introspection. I guess mild spoilers for Season 4 and the general concept of where things might be going for Jim and Pam.Holla is effin right. This was excellent. And I don't know if I have words for it right now, just ... the imagery is so palpable. Their black past and white future, and the grey road that is taking them there. Awesome.

Bees ... I'm so excited for the future chapters! I always envision Jim as being incredibly gracious and sweet to strangers (calling the Hooters waitress by her name comes to mind) ... so I thought he was perfect in this. Kudos. I mean Zippity doo dah!
