I love this- it's cute, very sensual (and I mean that in the sense of you include so many small details of touch, taste, sound), and very them. Sweet and I love the issues they have with the bed. The first student who saw Jim kneeling in front of the bed must have been... well... yeah. Not to hard to figure out what was going on.

I can't get enough post-engagement fic; Jim and Pam adore each other so much, then add in the giddiness of the events of the day to say nothing of Wet!Jim and the one!week engagement ring...

Point being loved it, sweet and fluffy but with substance. :) rereading for sure.

Yay! I just came home from a lovely Saturday night date, and couldn't resist checking for more WL fic.

I know we're all totally biased but it's true- only the DM people would understand how epic this event is. And it IS.

Your second-to-last paragraph (She didn't get...) is perfect. I mean, every time Jim and Pam try to do things by the book it doesn't pan out, but it always does when they just be themselves.

You really bring across the 'wow'-ness of the whole situation both of them feel. The novelty and relief and joy just never gets old.

And the way 'it' happens, the way you wrote it isn't about what happened so much as how it felt- and it wasn't huge and drawn out and complicated- it just happened and it was very them.

I could go totally raving crazy over this but I'm going to try not to so I can put words together.

It's gorgeous and sensual- you've got every sense covered here over and over until I wasn't reading it at all- it was like living it.

Pam and Jim got to see what they were like'not here' both separately and together, and in the same environment- I loved how you got all of those combinations in one cohesive story.

I loved your descriptions of the light- I only spent a few days in Japan on a layover but the contrast between light in night/day and city/mountain.

In total agreement with the reviewer who mentioned you can't give yourself to another person if you don't know who you are.

Love it.

You know those king-size down pillows? I bought three, put my bf's pillowcases on, laid them in a lengthwise row and slept with my back to them so the bed felt normal- two months away from him was way too long. In other words, I totally appreciate the focus you put on how much they miss being physically close, in ways other than sex.

Really glad you wrote a second chapter- love the mood and descriptive language, and you've really nailed Jim and Pam (ugh, TWSS). Thank you!

Aw...the things we do when we miss someone, huh?  For instance - I took the ESPN bit from my husband.  He's always got that on, especially when he lays down at night.  So when he's away for work I normally put Sports Center on because it reminds me of him :)

Second reading. Can't remember if I reviewed the first time. Calling DW was an excellent idea, their scene in this seems dead on to me. First time I've seen the idea of Jim initiating a backup plan, and you wrote a great story. And there's another chapter now I see! Yay! :)

Your mind is in excellent shape. Really, they're healthy young adults in a new exciting relationship who don't live at home and have apartments three doors down from each other. Sooooo.... really, something weird would be going on if they weren't going at it like bunnies. You're very good at steamy scenes, I don't think you have anything to worry about there :)

Really enjoying this series, although I was concerned when opening this chapter that you'd killed off Roy!

It's adorable, perfect for that ep. Loved your portrayal of the overreacting interrupting student; I'm sure most of the stuff Pam had to deal with was of that sort. I'm glad Pam answered the door in the fic and the ep; it's her job after all.

Poor Jim, interrupted activities aside it must make you feel about seventeen to get kicked out of your girlfriend's room and sent to the equivalent of the family room, lol :)
