Jim asks Pam to dance at Phyllis and Bob Vance, Vance Refridgeration's wedding.
It's fluff, it's a fix-it, it's just a story.
Somewhat canon-complicit? 6 or 7 short blurbs of the moments where Jim had butterflies while with Pam. Pure fluff, I apologize!
A story of how Pam established her own Christmas tradition.
Written for 2020 Secret Santa Fic exchange.
What if Jim chickened out Jim-style at Casino night?
Look at this idiotic fool that you made me
You taught me a secret language I can't speak with anyone else
And you know damn well
For you I would ruin myself
...a million little times
Song fic based off of illicit affairs by Taylor Swift
Jim returns to Scranton from Stamford in a world where Karen doesn't exist. Pam wants to pick up where they left off on Casino Night but Jim tells her he's done all the pursuing so far, and he'd like be pursued (read: seduced). "Give me a reason to come back."
Inspired by the Taylor Swift song "I Think He Knows".
So. There is an entire deleted B-Roll from "Sex Ed" where Pam and Jim are fighting all day, and then he slaps her butt on the way out. It's never explained. This is my explanation.
A few chapters of Jim reacting to several occasions where Pam says those two little words, told from his POV. Beginning on Casino Night, of course.
On a road trip, Jim's memories keep him company.
Memories take place throughout Jim and Pam's relationship, from friends to husband and wife (pre- to post-series), but they are framed by events that occur during the Texas period (post-series).
Important note: The author has chosen not to make use of all available warnings. However, one warning does apply to this story, but has been omitted to avoid spoiling readers for a major plot point and story theme. This warning applies for Chapter 10. This note/reminder will be repeated at the beginning of that chapter.
Minutes after Casino Night, Jim and Pam deal with the aftermath and living away from each other. After Jim gets settled in Stamford, and Pam is adjusting to life without Jim in Scranton and with her fiancé Roy, Pam and Jim end up meeting back together at a Dunder Mifflin convention with their bosses. Lots of Love and heartache.
