Au, where Pam never dated Roy and once she left high school, she got an art degree. But she still becomes a receptionist at Dunder Mifflin, but in Stamford.
When the Stamford branch closes, she is offered a position in Scranton, which she accepts. This is where she develops a crush on the handsome salesman, Jim who is in a long term relationship with saleswoman, Karen.
Pam needs very little time to know how she feels about Jim and what she needs to do to fix the mistake she just made. But things never go as planned for these two, do they?

What happened after Jim "struck gold" during his job interview in New York (season 3 finale) and before Pam went mining for celebrity sex tapes (season 4 opener), this chapter by chapter WIP has the story told through many points of view - none of them from the documentary film crew.
Two months after her husband dies, Pam receives a gift from him that helps her in more ways than she could ever imagine. Now it’s four years later and she’s finally ready to start dating again, but just like everything else in her life, it gets a little messy.
AU based off of The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks. If you’ve read the book, this plotline will be pretty similar while still incorporating characters/references/small plotlines of The Office as well as possibly my own little twists.
