It's 1995 and 16 year old Pam thinks she has everything figured out. All she wants is to be an artist, find a nice boy to fall in love with, and continue to think that everything happens for a reason.

The summer after her 16th birthday everything comes crashing down. Pam's life as she knew it begins to change. The perfect cocoon of a life she had originally had begins to crumble.

A look at Pam’s Season 3 journey through the eyes of her art instructor.

“Marla always started off the term asking students to fill out a survey about themselves... There wasn’t much on Pam’s paper; a few neatly written words that she worked as a receptionist, hadn’t taken art classes since high school, and liked watercolors best.”

“We’re friends,” she says, and it is the only true thing she can bear to admit in this moment. The only true thing she thinks he could hear without being lost to her forever. “We’ll always be friends.”

Response to 'The Apartment' challenge. Set immediately after the events of 'The Merger' (S3), Jim changes his relationship status and moves into the apartment across the hallway from Pam. 

Set after Roy shows up at the office to go after Jim in 3x18. What happens when he shows up at Pams later that night. This does involve abuse. Angst that eventually turns cheesy and cute. Rated MA!
